How Is a DermaV Laser Treatment Performed?

Your DermaV treatment is performed right in our office by our board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Dylan Greeney.

1. Consultation and preparation: Before treatment, your skin is cleansed and evaluated to determine the best settings for your unique concerns. Protective eyewear is provided for safety.
2. Treatment process: The DermaV handpiece delivers controlled pulses of light energy to the targeted areas. You may feel a gentle warming or quick snapping sensation as the laser works, but the built-in cooling system keeps the skin comfortable throughout the session.
3.  Duration: Most treatments take 15–45 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated.

Recover from DermaV Laser Treatment

Mild redness or warmth may occur for a few hours, similar to a mild sunburn. You can resume normal activities right away, but it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen as directed.

Many patients notice visible improvement after just one session, with continued benefits after a series of treatments as redness fades and pigmentation evens out.
