what to expect with a chemical peel

If you have extensive damage from aging or injury, more than one procedure may be necessary to achieve your desired results. For most people, their skin feels tight 1-2 days after the procedure. By day 3, your skin looks more tan than normal. Peeling occurs on days 4-9, healing with fresh glowing skin.
A chemical peel cannot correct sagging skin or halt the aging process. Strict sun protection is required for 4 weeks after the treatment.
