Before fat can be transplanted into the buttocks, it must be donated from another area of the body. Liposuction is used to remove fat (most commonly from the stomach or thighs), which in turn slims and contours the donor area as an added bonus. The collected fat cells are next purified before being reintroduced into the body. How long is recovery?
